Artist Statement There is an interconnection to everything that IS. If we magnified everything to the finest of subatomic particles, we would see no difference between any one thing and you, or me. If we look closer to the space between those fine particles, we may begin to realize pure emptiness, where no-thing exists. It is here where we may begin to realize Oneness. But then again, this description is merely a thought of the human mind trying to make sense out of this world, and therefore is way off base. In truth a finite thinking mind cannot comprehend an infinite reality. Bio Brian picked up the brush in 2000. For the past 8 years he has been painting a variety of different subjects, while experimenting with different techniques. Now he feels that something has solidified in his mind, a type of lens (so to speak). He began to express this in the early part of 2009. Brian lives a rather simple life in Prescott Arizona and enjoys traveling when he can. When he is not painting, he enjoys playing with his German Shepherd (Kora), Dutch oven cooking, working in his garden, and tending to a small flock of chickens.
